Hello, I'm Sandy Loyall. I'm a professional counsellor, writer and educator. I've graduated with a Counselling degree from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and a degree in Secondary Education from the University of Melbourne.
My passion for psychology and minimising human suffering began in 1996 when my first husband and I had been trying to have a baby until finally, the wheels of our marriage fell off. We'd had a single counselling session together and it was a disaster! I remember saying to myself, "If I can help just one couple stay together, it will have all been worth it..."
After 16 years volunteering on the phones for Lifeline, and three years working in a paid position as their Mentor and Support Officer in Lismore NSW, I opened my own practice here in Bangalow back in 2015.
I consider working with my clients to be an absolute honour and privilege...
